It's now official - the New York Jets will be featured on this year's installment of HBO's Hard Knocks reality television series. The series follows a select NFL team through its training camp and provides an in-depth perspective of the team's preparation for the upcoming season. This year's documentary will consist of 5 episodes.
The Jets seem perfect subjects, starting with self-confident head coach Rex Ryan and trash-talking LB Bart Scott. QB Mark Sanchez, CB Darrelle Revis and newly signed RB LaDainian Tomlinson are also sure to get plenty of camera time.
This will be Rex Ryan's second appearance on Hard Knocks, as he was an assistant coach on the Baltimore Ravens when they appeared in the series in 2001. The Dallas Cowboys are the only team that was featured on Hard Knocks twice - 2002 and 2008.
