The New York Jets selected WR Marcus Henry from Kansas in the 6 round (#171 overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. Henry, 6'4", 207lbs, runs 40 yards in 4.5 seconds. As a senior, he appeared and started in all 13 games, finishing the season with 54 receptions for 1,014 yards (18.8 average) and 10 TDs.
According to ESPN, "Henry possesses the height and ball skills to develop into an effective sub-package possession receiver but it's unlikely he ever develops into an every-down player, which is why he projects as a late round pick or rookie free agent."
NFL Draft Countdown lists the following as his strengths: "Has good size and a solid frame with long arms...A smooth athlete...Runs decent routes...Has soft hands...Good leaper...Terrific body control and ball skills...Tough and will work the middle of the field..Good instincts and awareness...Hard worker." and weaknesses "Does not play as fast as he times...Isn't real explosive and lacks a burst...Doesn't get much separation...Not very elusive and won't do much after the catch...Has to get stronger...Has trouble beating the jam...Marginal blocker...A one year wonder."
