The New York Jets drafted OT Nate Garner from the University of Arkansas in the 7th round (#211 overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. Garner, 6'6", 325lbs, was ranked 25th among offensive tackles by the Pro Football Weekly Draft Preview.
ESPN considers him "a far better run-blocker than pass-blocker." He's clearly a development prospect who will provide depth to the upgraded Jets' offensive line.
