The New York Jets have agreed to trade DT Dewayne Robertson to the Cincinnati Bengals for Cincinnati's 4th and 5th round picks (#114 and #151 overall) in the upcoming draft. Robertson, 26, who started at NT the last two years, has become expandable with the recent signing of DT Kris Jenkins.
In 2003, the Jets traded up to select Dewayne Robertson with the 4th overall pick in the NFL draft. Robertson hasn't become the player the Jets hoped he would be. In 5 seasons with the Jets Robertson recorded 14.5 sacks, 258 tackles (172 solo), and forced 3 fumbles.
