According to the Star Ledger, the New York Jets have reached an agreement in principle with QB Marques Tuiasosopo, who spent 6 years as a backup for the Raiders.
Tuiasosopo, 28, is a 7-year veteran who has started in just two NFL games. He's thrown a total of 88 passes (54.5 completion percentage) for 550 yards, 2 TD and 7 INTs.
We've also obtained some details of the contract recently signed by OT Anthony Clement. He signed a 3-year deal with the following base salaries: $770,000 (2007), 1,830,000 (2008), 1,980,000 (2009).
