The New York Jets have reached an agreement with free agent DE Kenyon Coleman. Coleman, 27, is a 6-year veteran who spent last four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys playing mostly as a backup. Last season Coleman recorded career-high 30 tackles (25 solo), 4.0 sacks and forced a fumble. Reportedly, Coleman received a 5-year contract worth $20M, which includes more than $6M in guaranteed money.
The Gang Green also re-signed DE Bobby Hamilton.
Also, as we reported a bit earlier, the Jets are closing in on a contract extension for recently acquired RB Thomas Jones.
