According to Newsday, the New York Jets are expected to pursue CB Nick Harper, a free agent from the Indianapolis Colts. Harper, 32, has 15 interceptions in 6 seasons with Indianapolis.
Also, it looks like the Jets are going to keep DE Kimo von Oelhoffen without restructuring his contract. He's due to receive a $1.85M base salary in 2007.
RB Corey Dillon now seems to be off the Jets' radar, as he wants to be an every-down back, which is something that he's not going to get in New York. Free agent RB Chris Brown is expected to visit the Gang Green next week.
