The New York Jets had just one practice session earlier today when they took the field at 2 PM ET under extremely hot weather conditions.
The practice mostly consisted of non-contact position drills with occasional scrimmages when both defense and offense were involved.
QB Brooks Bollinger was able to complete a few short passes, mostly to running backs and fullbacks. QB Kellen Clemens did not look impressive at all, throwing a few ducks and overthrowing wide open receivers on at least one occasion.
QB Chad Pennington was able to complete a long throw to WR Dante Ridgeway, making the crowd come alive.
WR Justin McCareins, who was put on PUP a few days ago, participated in practice with the first team.
