The New York Jets addressed their problems at guard today, as they signed unrestricted free agent OG-C Pete Kendall, 31, who had been with the Cardinals and Seahawks.
Kendall, 6'5", 286 lbs, is a 9-year veteran who has started in 111 out of 113 NFL games he played.
The 5-year deal is worth a little more than $20M. While Kendall didn't receive a signing bonus, the Jets are guaranteeing $6M of the deal, which will come in the first-three years of the contract. During the first three years, he's set to make $9M.
