The New York Jets released WR Curtis Conway who played just one season for the Gang Green.
Conway was signed last offseason to fill the void left by the departure of WR Laveranues Coles. In 16 games (15 starts) Conway caught 46 passes for 640 yards, and scored only 2 touchdowns.
By cutting Conway the Jets saved $2.0M of salary cap space ($1.5M base salary + $0.5M roster bonus that was due later this week).
