It was Team Green against Team White on a rainy Saturday afternoon in Hempstead, NY, as the New York Jets took the field at Hofstra University's James M. Shuart Stadium. The teams played four 10-minute quarters and the Greens led by QB Chad Pennington won 10-7.

Team White started the game on offense (there were no kickoffs) and on the first play from scrimmage QB Kellen Clemens threw a screen pass to RB Leon Washington who went for about 25 yards. Washington saw a lot of action on the first possession, as Team White continued moving the ball deep into Team Green's territory. The drive, however, got stalled when Clemens was sacked on a 4th and 1. Chad Pennington took over and gained -4 yards on his first possession (he was sacked for a loss of four by LB Bryan Thomas). As the rain began falling, Pennington got his team going on the second possession. The drive culminated in a 20+ yard pass to WR Jerricho Cotchery who easily beat CB Justin Miller and scored a touchdown.

Half way in the second quarter Eric Mangini pulled his teams off the field as the weather conditioned worsened. When 15-20 minutes later the teams returned to the field, it was decided to have the second quarter completed and begin the third one.

Team Green quickly extended their lead to 10-0 when PK Mike Nugent converted a 45-yard field goal. In the final quarter QB Kellen Clemens rallied his troops on the sideline - his actions took an immediate effect, as on the very next possession he connected with rookie TE Dustin Keller for a 50+ yard touchdown pass. Keller beat S Abram Elam and ran untouched to the end zone. Later in the quarter Nugent had an opportunity to extend Team Green's lead but missed a 47-yard field goal attempt. Team White took over but failed to gain a single first down, as Clemens was throwing one incompletion after another.

LB David Harris and WR Laveranues Coles did not participate in the game.
