The New York Jets inked their last unsigned draft pick DE/LB Vernon Gholston to a 5-year $40M contract, including at least $20 million in guarantees. He's expected to participate in today's 1:30pm practice session.

Gholston, 22, was #6 overall selection in the 2008 NFL Draft. In his final college campaign he recorded 14 sacks in 12 games.
